Launching Sketch 101 — A Free Email Course
To celebrate our 2017 Best Bootcamp Award from SwitchUp, we’re excited to launch our brand-shiny-new (and free) Sketch 101 email course today!
Sketch has become popular in the design world over the past few years, and like Adobe’s Illustrator package, it’s a vector-based image editor. What makes Sketch unique though is that it’s a much more lightweight product than Illustrator, and is optimized for quickly creating wireframes, web layouts, and exporting files to use in digital prototypes.
Sketch is also rapidly developing, and receives frequent updates. As a result, lots of the video tutorials out there on the web are getting pretty out of date. So we’ve put together this email course that will deliver a tutorial to your inbox each day for a week. We’ve also included exclusive templates and cheat sheets with each lesson for you to download.
Each tutorial will familiarize you with Sketch’s core functions, and consolidate learning from the previous days. At the end of each day, you’ll also have created an element to use in a web layout. On the final day of the course, you’ll assemble these elements to create a complete web layout you can export and show off to your friends or Twitter followers!
Our aim in Sketch 101 is to introduce you to Sketch’s interface and core functions through short, simple tutorials. The course is not intended to be comprehensive, but we realize there might be some features we chose to leave out that would actually be helpful to include.
We’d therefore love to receive your feedback on the course, so we can keep editing and improving it as time goes on. If you’ve got any feedback, positive or critical, please comment below, email us at email@example.com, or give us a shout on Twitter.
We hope you enjoy this free resource. Click here to sign up and start learning Sketch today!
