Examples of AI generated images based on text prompts.

Building ‘Viewmaker’

Video demo of how it works
All those were taken from my quiet neighborhood and my home and edited with Viewmaker on the spot.

What makes stable diffusion an interesting tool for creators?

1. A tool affects the result, but also the approach

2. How did ‘Viewmaker’ affect my perspective?

3. I ‘like’ when the result is different from what I intended.

(Left) red flowers, blue pot, butterflies / (Right) white cat. The results are distant from what I intended, but isn’t it so interesting?

How we can design stable diffusion more user-friendly?

1. What do you mean by describing an image with text?

Failure of giving the right guidelines to users

2. Providing full control might not mean ‘better’

Before and after adding default prompts to make the result more realistic.

3. More to explore — what’s the ideal prompt interface?

Left : Dall-E’s interface for text input / Right : Viewmaker’s voice input

Outro, and the next step

Would be great to collaborate with more creators and hear your thoughts!
